With admirers and followers of the deceased, Hon. Funke Adedoyin, the honourable member who until her death represented Ekiti/Oke-Ero/Irepodun/Isin at the Green Chambers of National Assembly, this medium can exclusively report had foretold her death 16 months before.
Funke Adedoyin, the daughter of the serial entrepreneur, Prince Samuel Adedoyin had while granting an exclusive interview with Fresh Insight Newspaper on July 10, 2017, brushed off suggestions of are recontesting in 2019, stressing that “nobody can boldly say he’ll see tomorrow.
When asked about her political aspiration for 2019, she said ” I don’t think 2019 should be about me, although I’ve read so many amusing stuffs in the papers, I wouldn’t want to talk about 2019, knowing that the future belongs to God Almighty. There are people who started this journey with us, but are no longer here, may God rest their souls, we have so many people scheming for 2019 who unknown to them would be history by then.
“We’ve lost a couple of colleagues, in the National Assembly, nobody can say for certain they’ll be here by 2019. In a nutshell, the decision of where I’ll be after 2019 is strictly in the hands of God. Like I always say, I have a job outside politics.
” My advice to all those eyeing 2019 is that time makes a fool of wisemen and make wise of fools, only time can take care of the future and there is nothing anybody can do about that” she submitted.
